Simon Gee MREC – Managing Partner
Simon is the Founder and Managing Director of Heywood and has worked within the recruitment sector for more than 13 years. After spending a number of years within equity trading and property finance, he fell into the recruitment sector and decided that this could be the start of a great career.
As a recruiter, Simon personally focuses on Financial Markets search and Interim Management assignments. He is also actively involved in assisting recruiters raise funding for their companies and is involved in some M&A activity.
Simon was the co-founder of Supporta Plc, a support service business that listed on the Alternative Investment Market (AIM) in February 2001.
Simon regularly attends and contributes to the REC’s Recruitment to Recruitment Sector Group. He is married with two teenage boys and enjoys golf and travelling.
Graeme Day – Principal Consultant
Graeme joined Heywood Search from another search to search firm in 2006. With a degree from Brunel University, Graeme has worked within the executive search space for 7 years. He speaks fluent Italian and is competent in Spanish & French.
Graeme focuses mainly on Commerce, Not For Profit, Pharmaceutical, Oil & Gas and Technology search assignments.
When not at work, Graeme enjoys travelling, attending the arts and socialising with his ever-growing network of friends across the world.
Elizabeth Ife - Principal Consultant
Elizabeth joined Heywood in early 2007 as a Senior Researcher and was promoted to Consultant a few month's later. When not covering the Consumer Goods, Financial and Professional Services Sectors, she pursues her passion for Opera singing. Elizabeth was awarded a Post Graduate Diploma from the Royal College of Music and has appeared in numerous operas across the UK including a long term contract in Glyndebourne.
Brendan Fleming - Senior Researcher
Brendan has worked with Heywood on a part time basis for a number of years. When not researching and approaching experienced executive search consultants, he pursues his other career as a professional actor. Brendan has appeared in many films and TV shows. He couples this with some corporate training role playing work.
Jane Lamont - Finance & Marketing Director
Jane is Heywood’s Finance Director and has been with the business since the start. Jane ensures that we don’t spend too much money and is normally the first one on the case when money is outstanding. She is also responsible for marketing.
Prior to joining Heywood, Jane spent many years within the Publishing industry.
She is a dog lover, enjoys gardening, travel and spending time with her grandchildren.
Anna Craig - Team Secretary/Office Administrator
Anna joined Heywood in early 2008 having travelled to London from Brisbane on a working holiday visa. Before joining us she worked as a Medical secretary in her native Australia. When not typing CVs and taking care of all of us in the office, Anna enjoys socialising and travelling. She plans to study Acting in the future.
