Simon is the Founder and Managing Director of Heywood and has worked within the recruitment sector for more than 14 years. Following his education at Mill Hill School, he completed a Marketing Diploma before commencing a career in the City. After spending a number of years in equity trading and property finance, he fell into the recruitment sector and decided that this could be the start of a great career.

In addition to his work at Heywood, Simon was a co-founder of Supporta Plc (SOR), a support service business that successfully listed on the Alternative Investment Market (AIM) in February 2001.

Simon regularly attends and contributes to the REC’s Recruitment to Recruitment Sector Group. He is married with two teenage boys and enjoys golf and travelling.

Graeme joined Heywood Search from another search to search firm in 2006. With a degree from Brunel University, Graeme has worked within the executive search space for 7 years. He speaks fluent Italian and is competent in Spanish & French.

Graeme focuses mainly on Commerce, Not For Profit, Pharmaceutical, Oil & Gas and TMT search assignments.

When not at work, Graeme enjoys travelling, attending the arts and socialising with his ever-growing network of friends across the world.

Brendan has worked with Heywood on a part time basis for a number of years. When not researching and approaching experienced executive search consultants, he pursues his other career as a professional actor. Brendan has appeared in many films and TV shows. He couples this with some corporate training role playing work.

Jane is Heywood’s Finance Director and has been with the business since the start. Jane ensures that we don’t spend too much money and is normally the first one on the case when money is outstanding.

Prior to joining Heywood, Jane spent many years within the Publishing industry.

She is a dog lover, enjoys gardening, travel and spending time with her seven grandchildren.
