Heywood was formed in 1996 by Simon Gee FIRP who over the years, has provided management and strategic solutions to the recruitment sector. In 2001, Simon co-founded and successfully floated the support services business Supporta PLC on the AIM. In 2010 the company was sold to the Mears Group PLC.

Heywood publishes the highly acclaimed annual salary survey for the Recruitment and Executive Search sectors and are often quoted in the national and financial press. Copies can be downloaded free of charge from this website.

Heywood is a member of the REC and a founder member of the R2R sector group.
